Is 'Asset Recovery Alliance' asking for a 'blockchain verification fee' after my crypto loss another scam?
Hey everyone, I'm feeling so desperate. A few months ago, I lost a significant amount of crypto (low five figures, ugh) in what I now realize was a pig butchering scam. I reported it to the local police here in Montpellier, and also the FCA online, but honestly, didn't hear much back. Now, I got an email out of the blue from a company calling themselves 'Asset Recovery Alliance'. They claim they've traced my funds and can recover them, but they need a 'blockchain verification fee' first. It's not a huge amount, like 500 euros, but after everything, I'm just so wary. Is this a common tactic for recovery scams? Should I even consider it, or is this just someone trying to kick me when I'm already down? I'm so tired of feeling stupid about this whole thing.
