Is 'bestcryptocurrencycipherrescue.vev.co' legit? They're asking for a 'digital asset verification fee'...

Hey everyone, feeling really stupid right now. About six months ago I lost a good chunk of my crypto to one of those fake investment platforms – thought I was building a future, ended up losing everything. I reported it to the police here in Stuttgart, but they basically said there's not much they can do for crypto. Then, out of the blue, I got an email from 'bestcryptocurrencycipherrescue.vev.co' saying they found my case details and could help recover my lost funds. They sound really convincing, talking about 'blockchain forensics' and 'cipher decryption'. They even sent me a screenshot that *looks* like my old wallet balance, which freaked me out a bit because how would they even know that? Now they're asking for a 'digital asset verification fee' of about 1500 EUR before they can proceed. They said it's a small percentage of what I'd get back. My gut is screaming 'SCAM!' but a tiny part of me is desperate. Has anyone dealt with these guys or anything similar? Is this just another layer of fraud?
