Crypto Recovery Service is asking for a 'proof of funds' deposit. Is this another scam trying to get me?

Ok, so, I was hit pretty bad a few months ago, lost like, almost 8k EUR in crypto to some fake investment platform. Horrible. I reported it to the police here in Lille, but they basically said it's a long shot. Anyway, last week, I got an email, unsolicited, from something called 'Crypto Recovery Service'. They said they track these things and found my case. They even had some details about my original transaction, which freaked me out a bit, like, how did they get that? Now they're saying they can get my crypto back, but I need to pay a 'proof of funds' deposit, like 1500 EUR, to show I'm serious and can receive the recovered amount. It sounds plausible, but after what happened, I'm super paranoid. Is this just another trap? I really don't want to lose more money.
