Is 'Refund Solutions Group' asking for a 'customs duty fee' legit to get my crypto back?
Ok, so i was scammed out of like, half my savings earlier this year, about $8k in crypto. i know, i know, i shouldn't have fallen for it, but i was really vulnerable at the time. a few weeks ago, i got an email from 'Refund Solutions Group' saying they'd traced my funds and could recover them. they sounded super professional and even knew some details about my original scam, which freaked me out a bit because i hadn't shared that widely.
Anyway, after a few calls, they now want me to pay a 'customs duty fee' of about 1500 Euros to release my recovered crypto from some 'offshore account.' Said it's standard protocol for international asset transfers. My partner thinks it's another scam and I'm just about ready to give up. Has anyone dealt with these guys or a similar request? My gut says no, but I'm just so desperate to get my money back. I'm from Eindhoven here in the Netherlands, so yeah, international transfer sounds kinda plausible... help?
