A company called 'Recovery Pro Hub' is asking for a 'digital ledger fee' to retrieve my crypto – is this legit or another scam?
Okay, so I lost a substantial amount of crypto, maybe around 15k EUR, a few months back. It was one of those fake investment platforms, you know? I was pretty devastated. Anyway, I got an email a couple of days ago from a company calling themselves 'Recovery Pro Hub'. They said they track lost funds and found mine! They sent me a super official-looking document, even had my old wallet address on it, which really spooked me. They claim they can recover everything, but I need to pay a 'digital ledger fee' of about 1500 EUR to get the process started. They say it's for 'cross-blockchain verification and data reconciliation.' It sounds tempting, so tempting to get my money back, especially after losing sleep over it. But I'm so scared of being scammed again. Has anyone heard of these guys? Is this how legitimate crypto recovery works, or am I just looking at another trap? I really can't afford to lose more.
