Crypto withdrawal stuck forever after 'KYC update' on a shady exchange – any hope of getting my funds back?

Feeling totally lost here. I'd been using this smaller crypto exchange, ZG.com, for a while, mostly just to move some smaller altcoins around that weren't on Kraken or Coinbase. Never big amounts, you know? Anyway, a few weeks ago I went to withdraw about half an ETH and a fair bit of USDT, and suddenly it's asking me for a 'KYC identity update.' I submitted all my docs again, front and back of ID, selfie, everything. That was two weeks ago. My withdrawals are still pending, and customer support just keeps giving me canned responses like 'processing,' or just straight up ghosting me now. I'm kicking myself for not just sticking to the big players. Is there *any* way to get my funds unstuck from a situation like this, or am i just out of luck? It's not a fortune, but it's not nothing either. Ugh.
