I fell for one of those pig butchering scams, you know, where they build trust over weeks, then lure you into a 'high-yield investment' platform. This one involved an 'expert' trader on Telegram who seemed super legit at first. They got me to dump a significant chunk of my savings into a fake crypto platform. When I tried to withdraw, surprise, surprise, massive 'taxes' and 'fees' appeared out of nowhere. I'm talking mid-five figures; it's a disaster.
