A company called 'Reclaim Asset Solutions' wants 'verification costs' - another scam or actually real?
Hey everyone,
I was hit pretty hard by a crypto investment scam around six months ago – lost about £12k, which was honestly devastating. I reported it to the police here in Brighton, and to the FCA, but honestly, didn't hear much back. Now, out of the blue, I've been contacted by a company calling themselves 'Reclaim Asset Solutions'. They sent me a really detailed email, showing what looked like some tracking info for my lost funds, and said they almost have it back. They're asking for a 'verification cost' of £850 to release the funds, which they claim is a standard legal fee for international transfers.
It sounds *so* tempting to believe them, but after what I've been through, I'm really wary. My partner thinks it's a trap, but a part of me really wants it to be true, you know? Has anyone ever heard of them? Is this a genuine step in recovery or am I about to get scammed again? I just can't afford to lose more.
