A company called 'Global Recovery Experts' wants an 'administrative processing fee' to get my money back. Scam?
Ok, so i feel kinda dumb asking this, but after losing like, 8 grand to a fake crypto investment platform last year (it was pretty sophisticated, they had a whole website and everything, tbh i was desperate during COVID times), i've been getting these emails. Mostly junk, but this one looked kinda professional. It's from 'Global Recovery Experts' and they claim they can get my money back. They had some details about my original loss, which freaked me out a little, how do they know that? They want an 'administrative processing fee' of about $750 up front to 'initiate the recovery process'. They keep pushing for it, saying time is critical. I'm so over losing money, but what if this is finally my chance? Has anyone heard of them, or is this just another scam preying on victims? My husband thinks I'm crazy even considering it, but I just want some of that money back, you know?
