A company called 'Global Claims Resolution' wants a 'bank guarantee fee' to recover my crypto. Is this legit?
Hey everyone, I'm really struggling here. A few months ago, I got completely fleeced in a crypto investment scam – thought I was making a fortune but ended up losing everything, about 15k USD. It was brutal, I was so ashamed and didn't tell my partner for ages.
Anyway, I've been getting tons of emails from these 'recovery' firms. One called 'Global Claims Resolution' just contacted me again. They said they've identified my funds and can get them back, but first, I need to pay a 'bank guarantee fee' of like 2,000 USD. They say it's to prove I have the means to cover legal costs if it goes to court, and it's fully refundable once the funds are released. They sound super professional on the phone, very sympathetic, and they even mentioned specific details about my initial scam that I didn't give them.
I'm so desperate to get my money back, but I'm also terrified of getting scammed again. My gut is screaming 'no' but my bank account is screaming 'yes'. Has anyone dealt with these guys or anything similar? Is a 'bank guarantee fee' a normal thing in fund recovery? Please help, I can't afford to lose any more.
