A company called 'Global Claims Solutions' contacted me about my lost investment. They want a 'dispute resolution' fee. Legit?
Okay, so I was hit hard by a fake investment platform last year, lost about €8k. It was gutting, obviously. I reported it to the local Gardai here in Waterford, and honestly, didn't expect much. Then, a few weeks ago, I got an email from a company calling themselves 'Global Claims Solutions'. They said they'd found my case, had tracked down some of the funds (sounded too good to be true, right?), and could help me get it back. But, they want a 'dispute resolution fee' upfront, about €500. They have a decent-looking website, and the guy I spoke to on the phone sounded very professional, like a solicitor almost. I'm desperate to get my money back, but I'm also terrified of being scammed again. Has anyone heard of these guys or something similar? Is this standard procedure for getting funds back, or am I about to throw more good money after bad?
