Met someone on Tinder, lost crypto to fake platform – now they want a 'minimum balance' to withdraw. Any hope?
I'm feeling so numb and stupid right now. I met someone really charming on Tinder a few months back. We talked for ages, seemed super genuine, like we really connected. Then they started talking about crypto, how they were making good money on this platform. I was hesitant at first, but they were so convincing, showing me 'screenshots' and everything. Eventually, I put in a few thousand euros, then a bit more, seeing the 'profits' grow on the platform dashboard. It felt so real.
Now I tried to withdraw some profits, just to test it out, and the platform blocked it. Said something about 'system security' and a 'minimum account balance' requirement of €3,000 before any withdrawals can be processed. I don't have another €3,000! I'm already drained. I'm in Toulouse, France. Is this a common scam? Is there absolutely anything I can do, or is it all just gone? Any advice on who to even contact here?
