Mrs Oxxxx Trader / Recovery Company and Foundation contacted me, are they legit or another scam?
Ok, so I'm honestly so drained from all this. Back in November, I lost a significant amount to a crypto investment scam. I reported it to the RCMP here in Edmonton, but honestly, didn't really expect much to come of it. Anyway, I got an email a few days ago, it was really vague but mentioned my case and said they could help. It was from something called 'Mrs Oxxxx Trader / Recovery Company and Foundation'. I replied, kinda a Hail Mary, you know? They've been super responsive, sent me a document about 'asset tracing' and 'compensation funds' they've apparently secured. They want a 'legal administrative fee' upfront, about CAD 800, to release my money. They even sent a screenshot of a substantial amount in a crypto wallet they claim is mine. It seems so professional, but after getting burned once, I'm just so paranoid. Has anyone heard of them? Is this how real recovery works? I really don't wanna fall for another trick.
