My 'new friend' from a gaming community got me to invest in ZG.com. Am I completely screwed?
i can't believe i'm even writing this. i met this guy playing a game, seemed really genuine and cool. we chatted for weeks, moved to whatsapp, even did some voice calls. he talked about how he was making loads of money with crypto and kept showing me screenshots. he convinced me to put a good chunk of my savings, like, nearly 10k euros, into this platform called ZG.com. he even helped me set up my account and transfer funds from my Revolut. i saw my balance growing, it felt so real. until i tried to withdraw. suddenly there were 'verification fees', 'tax issues', all sorts of excuses. and now he's ghosted me. i feel so stupid and embarrassed. is there any point in reporting this from ireland? has anyone had any luck with ZG.com? i'm really struggling right now.
