My savings were drained after approving a malicious transaction on a phishing site, any hope?
I'm gutted, absolutely gutted. I thought I was being so careful. Last week, I got this email, looked super legitimate, said it was from Perpetual Protocol, a project I actually use a lot. It talked about a new yield farming opportunity, really high APY. I clicked the link, connected my MetaMask, and approved a transaction. Everything looked normal. Moments later, my wallet balance dropped to zero. All my USDC, gone. I'm talking about a significant chunk of my life savings, over five figures. I was planning a deposit on a house with that money. I immediately disconnected my wallet, changed my passwords, but the funds were already gone to some unknown address. I've reported it to MetaMask, but they just said they can't reverse transactions. Is there *anything* at all, any long shot, I can do? I'm in London, btw. Just feeling so stupid and helpless right now.
