A company called 'Reclaim Justice' contacted me about my crypto losses, but they want an 'arbitration fee'. Is this another scam?
Hi everyone, I'm really at my wits' end here. Back in January, I lost a significant amount of crypto (low five figures, honestly still makes me sick to my stomach to think about it) to what I now realize was a classic pig butchering scam. I reported it to the local police and even filed a complaint with the FBI IC3, but honestly, nothing really came of it. It felt like shouting into a void.
Just last week, I got an email out of the blue from a company calling themselves 'Reclaim Justice'. They somehow knew about my specific crypto loss – which already kinda spooked me – and said they specialize in recovering funds from these types of scams. They've been really responsive, showed me some 'case studies' (which look impressive but who knows), and now they're asking for an 'arbitration fee' of about £1,800 to start the process. They say it's for 'international dispute resolution' and that it's fully refundable if they don't recover anything. My partner thinks it's a trap, but a tiny part of me, after all this time, just wants to believe there's a chance. Has anyone heard of these guys or had to pay a fee like this? Is it legit or am I just setting myself up to lose more?
