Crypto 'wallet drainer' after fake 'staking pool' on Avalanche, is my AVAX gone for good?

Feeling totally gutted right now. I saw this ad on Reddit for a new Avalanche staking pool, promising insane APY, like 200%. It was late, I was scrolling, and tbh, it looked super legit, like one of those dApp explorers. I connected my Trust Wallet, eager to get in on those sweet returns. Followed the steps, approved a transaction... and then crickets. My AVAX, about 5.5k euros worth, just *poof*. Vanished. My wallet balance showed zero. Checked the transaction hash and it looks like it went straight to some random address, not the staking pool. I feel like such an idiot. My partner is gonna kill me. I've heard about these 'wallet drainers' now, but didn't know what they were before. Is there any way at all to get my AVAX back? Has anyone ever recovered anything from these types of scams? I'm desperate for some hope.
