My 'broker' 24Options denied my withdrawal due to 'unmet bonus terms' - is this a scam?
Hi everyone,
I'm feeling so sick to my stomach right now. I signed up with a broker called 24Options a few months back, saw their ads online promising good returns. They offered a pretty sweet 100% bonus on my initial deposit – I put in a decent amount, almost all my savings, like 4,000 euros. The account manager was super nice, always calling to 'help' me trade.
Now, I wanted to withdraw some of my profits, maybe about 2,500 euros, just to make sure it was legit. But when I tried, the withdrawal was denied. They sent an email saying I haven't met the 'bonus terms and conditions' and need to trade a lot more volume before I can take anything out. They're saying I need to hit like, a 30x turnover on the bonus amount! That's impossible!
I feel so stupid for falling for this. Is this a common scam? Can I do anything to get my money back, or is it just gone? I'm in Lyon, France, so not sure who to even report it to here. Any advice would be so appreciated.
