My USDT disappeared from Crustwin.com after 'copy trading', is it a scam?
Hi everyone, I'm feeling really sick about this. I met someone on LinkedIn, seemed legit, talked for a while. They introduced me to Crustwin.com, saying they were making really good money with 'copy trading' on their platform. I've never done crypto before but they walked me through it, helped me set up MetaMask and sent USDT there, then transferred it to Crustwin.com. I saw my balance growing, sometimes daily, it looked great on their dashboard. I put in about 8k USD initially, then another 5k when they said there was a 'VIP level' for even better returns.
Now, it's all gone. When I tried to withdraw, Crustwin.com said I needed to pay a 20% tax *before* withdrawal. I paid that, thinking it was just a final hurdle. Then they said my 'account was frozen' due to suspicious activity and I needed to pay a 'security deposit'. I'm out nearly 15k USD now and I just have a bad feeling. Is Crustwin.com a known scam? Is there any way to get my USDT back? I'm in Eindhoven, this is devastating.
