Cyprus-based binary options broker blocking my withdrawals after big deposit, what can I do?
Hey everyone, feeling pretty sick to my stomach about this one. I got into binary options a few months back through an online ad, ended up putting a good chunk of savings, about low five figures, into a platform based out of Cyprus. Everything was going okay, even made some decent 'profits' according to their platform. But now, when I try to withdraw, they're just giving me the runaround. First it was 'technical issues,' then 'compliance checks,' and now they're saying I need to deposit *more* funds to 'activate' my withdrawal account. This feels incredibly dodgy, but my money is just stuck there. I'm based in Cork, Ireland, so I don't know who to even talk to. Has anyone dealt with these Cyprus brokers before? What are my options here? Is my money gone for good?
