Hi everyone, i'm posting here because i'm at my wit's end. i was a victim of a deepfake scam just last month, and i honestly feel like an idiot. they impersonated my boss perfectly, audio and video, and convinced me to transfer what i thought was an urgent payment for a supplier, about 45k euros, from my personal crypto wallet to what turned out to be their address. the company wallet was thankfully untouched, but this was my life savings, gone in minutes. my bank (Permanent TSB) said they couldn't do anything because it was crypto. i've seen some ads for [Nethertrace](https://nethertrace.co) and they claim to specialize in blockchain forensics. honestly, i'm so wary of another scam, but i'm desperate. has anyone actually had a real, tangible recovery with Nethertrace? or is this just another false hope for desperate people? any advice, good or bad, would be a lifesaver right now. based in Limerick, Ireland.
