Is 'Global Crypto Recovery Solutions' asking for a 'digital asset protection fee' just another scam?
Okay, so I was stupid enough to fall for a crypto investment scam back in March. Lost about 12,000 EUR, my life savings tbh. I reported it to the Dutch police, filled out an Action Fraud form even though I'm not in the UK, just trying everything. Didn't get anywhere, obviously.
Now, about two weeks ago, I got an email out of the blue from 'Global Crypto Recovery Solutions'. They said they found my case through 'blockchain analysis' and have a high success rate. They even had some details about my initial scam, which freaked me out a bit, like how did they know?
They've been super pushy, saying they've located my funds but need a 'digital asset protection fee' of 1,500 EUR before they can release anything. They want me to pay it in USDT. It feels off, but part of me is just desperate to get my money back. Is this... is this just another scam? Or could it actually be legit for once? I'm so tired.
