Is 'Crypto Refund Solutions' asking for a 'digital asset transfer tax' just another scam after losing my ETH?
Ok so I lost about $7k in ETH to one of those fake investment platforms back in March. I was super embarrassed and didn't tell anyone for ages. I reported it to the police, but honestly, didn't expect much. Then, last week, I got this email out of nowhere from a company called 'Crypto Refund Solutions'. They said they track scam wallets and had identified my lost funds and could recover them. They knew the exact amount I'd lost and the platform name, which freaked me out a bit because how did they know? Anyway, they're now asking for a 'digital asset transfer tax' of about 10% of my original loss before they can release the funds. They said it's a 'mandatory government tax' for returning crypto assets. I'm desperate to get my money back, but this just smells fishy. Is this a common tactic? Am I about to get scammed *again*?
