My unregulated broker, 'ProFX Markets', wants a 'due diligence fee' to release my profits. Scam or legit?
Hi everyone, I'm really panicking here. I've been trading forex with a broker called 'ProFX Markets' for about six months and actually made some decent money, or so I thought. My account shows a profit of around $15,000 USD after starting with about $2,000. I initiated a withdrawal last week, just a partial one, like $5,000, to see how it works. Now they're telling me I need to pay a 'due diligence fee' of $1,200 before they can process the withdrawal. They said it's for 'international compliance checks' and 'to ensure fund legality'. They claim it's a standard procedure for large withdrawals to non-local banks. I've sent them everything they asked for, ID, utility bills, bank statements, etc. My 'account manager' is really pushing me to pay it quickly, saying the market is volatile and I should secure my funds. It sounds suspicious, but what if it's real? I don't wanna lose my profits. Anyone else encountered this with ProFX Markets or other unregulated brokers?

Hey everyone, I'm feeling pretty desperate here. I lost a significant amount of crypto earlier this year, like low five figures, to one of those investment platforms that just vanished. I've been trying to put it behind me, but then late last week I got an email out of nowhere from a company called 'Global Financial Recovery'. They said they track these things and found my case. They want a 'due diligence fee' upfront to start the process of getting my funds back. They sound really convincing, mentioning blockchain analysis and legal teams. I'm based in Nijmegen, and it's just stressing me out thinking I might miss a chance to get my money back, but also terrified of being scammed again. Has anyone heard of them? Are they actually any good, or is this just another trap? Any advice would be so appreciated.
