Lost my crypto to a fake 'Uniswap V3' site, wallet drained. Any chance to retrieve it?
Hi everyone, I'm feeling really stupid right now. I was trying to swap some altcoins for ETH on what I thought was Uniswap V3 yesterday evening. It looked *exactly* like the real site, I swear. I connected my MetaMask wallet, authorized a transaction, and then boom – an hour later, my entire wallet was drained. Like, gone. All my ETH, some USDC, everything. I know I should have double-checked the URL but it was late, I was tired, and the link just appeared in my search results.
I've already disconnected the wallet from everything and changed my passwords, but what else can I do? Is there *any* way to trace this or get my funds back? It was a significant amount for me, almost all my savings. I reported it to the platform I used to buy the crypto initially (not Uniswap, obviously). I just feel so lost. Any advice or shared experiences would really help.
