My MetaMask was drained after clicking a fake airdrop link, can I get my tokens back?
Hi everyone, I'm feeling sick to my stomach right now. I saw an announcement on Twitter for a new token airdrop, it looked super legit, even had some big accounts promoting it. I clicked the link, connected my MetaMask, and approved what I thought was just a small gas fee transaction to claim the airdrop. Everything seemed fine, but then a few hours later, I checked my wallet and ALL my ETH and some altcoins were gone. Drained. Completely empty. I can see the transactions on Etherscan, they moved everything to a new address. This happened around 4 PM GMT yesterday. I didn't even get the airdrop! I've frozen my MetaMask account access on my browser, but obviously, it's too late for the funds. Is there *anything* I can do? I'm in shock. This was most of my savings.
Anyone recovered funds from a fake 'mining pool' crypto scam with Nethertrace?
Feeling pretty raw right now. I fell for one of those fake crypto mining pool scams, lost almost everything. It started on Instagram, someone slid into my DMs, super friendly, talked about this amazing passive income opportunity. My red flags were barely even waving, which is so embarrassing now. I transferred a decent chunk of ETH to what I thought was a legitimate pool, saw daily 'returns' on their dashboard, which of course, were all fake. When I tried to withdraw, poof, account locked, support ignored me. Total pig butchering, but with a mining twist. I've been doing some research and saw Nethertrace mentioned a few times. Has anyone actually worked with [Nethertrace](https://nethertrace.co) specifically for this kind of fake mining pool scam? I know these things are super hard to recover from, but I'm desperate for some real success stories. Any honest experiences would be super helpful right now.
