Feeling pretty awful after a crypto scam, has anyone found success with Nethertrace after a fake broker scam?
Hi everyone, I'm Sophie from Galway. Feeling utterly devastated right now. I fell for one of those fake crypto broker scams, lost about 80k EUR that I'd saved up. It was so convincing, they had a whole platform, seemed legit. They even let me withdraw a small amount early on, which really sucked me in. Now, nothing. Just silence. I've been looking into recovery options, and honestly, the whole space feels like another minefield. So many outfits asking for upfront crypto, which just feels wrong given what I've been through. I came across [Nethertrace](https://nethertrace.co) and they seem different, more professional, based in the Netherlands. They talk about blockchain forensics and not taking upfront fees, which is a huge relief. But I'm so wary. Has anyone actually worked with Nethertrace after a fake broker scam, or anything similar? I'd love to hear some real experiences, good or bad. Just trying to figure out if there's any hope left for my money.
My 'broker' is demanding a 'risk premium insurance' to release my profits. Is this legit?
Okay, so I'm in a bit of a bind here and feeling pretty stupid tbh. I got into this crypto trading thing a few months back through an ad on social media. Everything seemed fine, I put in a bit of money, and then they showed me these 'profits'. Looked good on paper, like over 20k Euro. When I tried to withdraw, they suddenly hit me with this new requirement: a 'risk premium insurance' fee. They say it's to protect my funds during transfer because the amount is so large. They want about 10% of my 'profits' upfront before they'll process anything. I've already put in a few grand, and I'm really worried about losing it all. My gut says this is a scam, but what if it's not and I'm just missing out? Has anyone else encountered this 'risk premium insurance' demand from a broker? I'm in Nice, France, if that helps. What should I do?
