My 'broker' is demanding a 'server maintenance fee' to release my profits. Is this a new scam tactic?
Ugh, feeling totally drained and honestly a bit stupid right now. I got into online forex trading a few months back, found this 'broker' through a Facebook ad that looked super legit, good reviews, all that. Put in a small amount, started making some 'profit' really quickly. Like, way too quickly looking back. It was exciting, you know? My 'account manager' was always pushing me to put in more, and I did, thinking I was on to something. I've got a decent amount sitting there now, a good five figures, or so it says on their platform. But when I tried to withdraw, guess what? They're telling me I need to pay a 'server maintenance fee' first, something like 10% of my total balance. They say it's because my account is 'high volume' and needs dedicated server resources to process the large withdrawal. It just sounds so fishy. I've never heard of anything like this. Is this a common thing? Or have I totally fallen for another scam? I'm in Canberra, Australia, and I'm stressing big time about this.

Hi everyone, i'm feeling really stressed out. i've been trading with this broker, let's call them 'ApexTrade Global', for about 4 months now. i put in around $3,000 initially, and after a lot of 'guidance' from my 'account manager', my balance is showing over $15,000. i was super excited, thinking i could finally pay off some debts. But now, when i try to withdraw, they're saying i need to make a 'liquidity pool contribution' of 15% of my profit before they can process anything. They're telling me it's standard procedure for high-profit withdrawals to ensure market stability and that it's fully refundable after the withdrawal. It just sounds so fishy. I've already sent them so much money. Is this a common thing? Or am i being scammed again? I really can't afford to lose any more money, especially not after seeing this 'profit'. Any advice would be really appreciated. What should i do?
