Binary Options broker 'BinaryTradePro' just froze my account and is demanding a 'premium subscription fee' to unfreeze it for withdrawal. Scam or legit?
Hi everyone, I'm feeling sick to my stomach right now. I got into binary options trading a few months back, thought I was doing pretty well, you know, some small wins, reinvesting. This platform, BinaryTradePro, seemed okay at first. I'd put in about £7,000 over a few deposits, mostly through my Revolut card, thinking it was safer. Now I tried to withdraw a decent chunk, about £4,500, because honestly, I needed the cash. And they just froze my account. No warning. Then I get this email saying my account is 'inactive' due to 'insufficient trading volume' and to unfreeze it and process any withdrawal, I need to pay a 'premium subscription fee' of £1,200. Is this normal? My gut says scam, but I'm desperate to get my money out. What should I do? I'm in Glasgow, UK, btw.
My 'broker' is now asking for a 'security fund' to unfreeze my account for withdrawal. Legit or scam?
Hey everyone, I'm really panicking here. I got into some online trading a few months ago through a platform I found on Instagram, thinking I could make some extra cash. Everything seemed fine, I even saw some 'profits' building up in my account. But when I tried to withdraw a small amount last week, my account got immediately frozen. Now, their 'support agent' is telling me I need to deposit a "security fund" of about 15% of my balance to prove I'm a legitimate investor and unlock the withdrawals. They say it's for 'anti-money laundering' compliance. I'm in Al Ain, and this whole thing feels really off. I've already put in about 8,000 USD and I'm terrified of losing it all. Has anyone encountered this specific 'security fund' demand? What do I even do?
My 'broker' EuroFX just froze my account and is demanding a 'fund verification fee'. What do I do?
Hi everyone, I'm Michael from Hannover. I got into online trading about six months ago through some ads on social media, thought it looked promising. I put about 7,000 euros into EuroFX, and for a while, it seemed like I was making some profit, nothing crazy, but consistent. I even managed to 'withdraw' a small amount (like 100 EUR) back in the beginning, which made me trust them more. Now, I tried to pull out about 2,000 EUR because I needed it for an unexpected car repair, and suddenly my account is frozen. Their support told me I need to pay a 'fund verification fee' of 10% of my total balance before any withdrawal can be processed. They're saying it's for 'regulatory compliance' and to 'prove funds origin'. This sounds really fishy to me. Is this a new scam tactic or something legitimate that happens with brokers? I'm panicking a bit here. Any advice would be really appreciated.
My 'broker' told me my account is 'frozen for suspicious activity' and wants a 'security unfreeze deposit'. What gives?
Right, so I've been with this broker, EuroFX, for about 6 months now. Started small, put in like 500 quid, and slowly, slowly, it built up to what looked like a decent profit. I thought, great, time to take a bit out, maybe 3 or 4k, just to see if it's real before I put more in. I asked for a withdrawal last week, and then nothing. Chased them up yesterday, and today I get an email saying my account is 'frozen due to suspicious activity' and that I need to pay a 'security unfreeze deposit' of about 15% of my balance to 'verify my identity' and 'lift the freeze'. It feels super dodgy, you know? Like, if they already have my ID, why do they need more money for verification? And why now, only when I want to withdraw? I didn't see anything about this in their terms. Has anyone else heard of this? Is this a standard thing or am I getting played?
My 'broker', EuroFX, just froze my account after I asked to withdraw. What can I even do?
Hey everyone, feeling pretty sick to my stomach tbh. I've been trading with EuroFX for about six months now. Started small, then put in quite a bit, like low five figures. I saw some decent profits, nothing crazy, but consistent enough to trust them. Last week, I decided to take out about 10k to pay off some debt. I put in the withdrawal request, and it just... disappeared. Checked the next day, same thing. So I contacted my 'account manager' and suddenly they're saying my account is 'under review for suspicious activity' and they've frozen everything. Now they're asking for 'proof of source of funds' and even more documents than I gave when I opened the account. It feels like they're just stalling. Is this normal? Has anyone dealt with EuroFX or a similar situation? I'm in Singapore and really don't know who to turn to. Any advice on how to get my money out, or if it's already gone?
