My savings gone after 'liquidity mining' on a new DeFi platform (LQD Swap), any hope for recovery?
I'm gutted. I put pretty much all my savings, about 15,000 AUD, into this new 'DeFi liquidity mining' platform called LQD Swap. I found it through a group chat on Telegram, where people were posting screenshots of pretty insane returns, like 1-2% daily. I transferred USDT from my Kraken account to a new Metamask wallet, then connected it to LQD Swap and, well, did the 'mining thing'. It looked legit, had all the fancy charts and stuff. For a few days, the numbers went up, I even managed to withdraw a small test amount, which really hooked me. But then when I tried to pull out the main amount, about two days ago, it just kept failing. Now the website is gone, Telegram group deleted, and my wallet shows zero USDT. I feel so stupid. Is there *any* way to track these funds or get them back? I already reported it to Kraken, but they just said they can't do anything once it leaves their platform. What do I do?
