Lost my crypto to a fake 'wallet connect' QR code on a Twitch stream, any hope to recover?

Hey everyone, im feeling pretty sick to my stomach right now. I was watching a popular crypto streamer on Twitch last night, and they were doing this 'giveaway' where you had to scan a QR code to connect your wallet to claim some new token. It all looked legit because the streamer themselves was promoting it, you know? Like, it seemed like their actual channel. So I scanned it with my MetaMask app on my phone, approved the connection, and literally minutes later, my entire balance was gone. We're talking ETH, some USDC, all of it. Low five figures. I was devastated. I immediately disconnected the wallet, but by then it was too late. I've reported it to Twitch and tried to contact MetaMask support, but haven't heard back yet. Is there *any* way to trace these funds or get them back? This was pretty much my life savings. I'm based in Edinburgh, btw.
