My unregulated broker, "OptionStarsGlobal", asking for 'profit processing fee'. Is this normal?
Hey everyone, I'm kinda freaking out here. I got into forex trading a few months ago after seeing some ads online, and ended up with a broker called OptionStarsGlobal. Everything seemed okay at first, I put in about 2k euros, and honestly, through some beginner's luck I think, my account says I'm up by like 8k. Sounds great, right? So I tried to withdraw some of it, maybe half, and my 'account manager' (who's been super pushy btw) got back to me saying I need to pay a 'profit processing fee' of 15% before they can release ANY funds. He says it's standard industry practice for unregulated brokers to cover administrative costs for large payouts. This sounds really fishy to me. I've already lost a bit to another scheme years ago, so I'm super wary. Is this legit at all? Or am I about to lose everything?
