My 'broker' is asking for a 'proof of liquidity' deposit to release my funds. Is this even a real thing?
Hey everyone, I'm feeling sick to my stomach right now. I've been trading with a company called EuroFX for the last few months, and honestly, things seemed okay at first. I put in about 5,000 euros, and according to their platform, I've made some decent profit, bringing my balance to around 18,000 euros. I tried to withdraw 10,000 euros last week, and they're now telling me I need to deposit an additional 'proof of liquidity' fund of 3,500 euros to unlock my withdrawal. They said it's a 'standard regulatory requirement' before large transfers. It sounds completely fishy to me. I'm in Toulouse, France. Has anyone encountered this before? Is this a genuine thing or am I being scammed?
