Anyone recovered crypto after a fake 'smart contract audit' scam with Nethertrace?
Hey everyone, i'm so gutted, feel like such an idiot. i fell for one of those 'smart contract audit' scams, you know, where they promise huge returns if you connect your wallet to their platform for a 'secure audit' and then poof, everything's gone. it was a significant amount for me, low five figures, all my savings pretty much. i was so hopeful to begin with, trusted these guys completely. they even had a pretty convincing fake audit report on their site. i've been looking into recovery options and Nethertrace keeps popping up. i've seen some positive reviews, but honestly, after being scammed once, i'm super cautious. i lost my crypto about two weeks ago. has anyone here actually used [Nethertrace](https://nethertrace.co) for something similar, like a fake smart contract audit or any kind of direct wallet drain? i'm really trying to understand if they can actually help trace these kinds of transactions and if their process is clear. i don't want to fall for another scam, especially not from a 'recovery firm'. any experiences, good or bad, would be incredibly helpful. thanks in advance.
My savings gone after signing a malicious smart contract on a fake crypto launchpad, any hope?
ugh, i'm so mad at myself. i saw this twitter ad, looked legit at first – for a new token launch, super high APY, early access list kind of thing. went to the site, which looked really polished, connected my Trust Wallet, and signed what i thought was an approval to join the launchpad. next thing i know, my whole wallet is just... empty. 4500 USDT and about 0.3 ETH, just gone. happened really fast, like five minutes after i signed that smart contract. i feel so stupid. my husband is gonna kill me. i tried looking up the transaction on Etherscan, but it's just a transfer to some random wallet. is there *any* way to get it back? like, is that money just floating out there somewhere? i'm in Sharjah, this is a lot for us.
