Lost my superannuation to a 'friend' from a gaming community via a fake investment platform. Can I get anything back?
Feeling pretty stupid right now, tbh. Met this person through a gaming community I've been part of for years, seemed legit, we'd chat while playing. After a few months, they started talking about 'investing' and how they were making bank. Ngl, I was hesitant, but they kept sending screenshots, talking about life goals, and how they wanted to help me get ahead. It felt so personal. They eventually convinced me to move my superannuation into this platform they called 'Global Horizon Capital'. It looked real enough, had fancy charts, and I even saw 'returns' in the first few weeks. But then I tried to withdraw, and they hit me with 'tax' fees, then 'liquidity' fees, then 'anti-money laundering' fees. Now the site's gone, and all my messages are unanswered. I've lost about aud$65,000. I feel like such a fool. Is there any point reporting this? Where do I even start from Australia?

I'm gutted, absolutely gutted. I met this guy, 'David', on a dating app a few months back. We really clicked, or so I thought. He seemed so genuine, always asking about my day, future plans, everything. Then he started talking about crypto, how he was making great money with it, and how I could too. Said it was a 'safe' way to invest and grow my retirement savings. He slowly convinced me to put my superannuation into this platform, 'ZG.com'. It looked legit, had charts, everything. I watched my money 'grow' for a while, even did a small withdrawal he helped me with, which made me trust him even more. Big mistake. When I tried to withdraw a larger amount, it just froze. Then they started asking for 'tax' or 'verification fees'. David has ghosted me. I've lost everything. My super… it's all gone. I'm in Hobart, Australia. Does anyone know if there's any point reporting this? Where do I even start? I feel so stupid and embarrassed.
