Binary Options broker 'BinaryTradePro' just froze my account and is demanding a 'premium subscription fee' to unfreeze it for withdrawal. Scam or legit?
Hi everyone, I'm feeling sick to my stomach right now. I got into binary options trading a few months back, thought I was doing pretty well, you know, some small wins, reinvesting. This platform, BinaryTradePro, seemed okay at first. I'd put in about £7,000 over a few deposits, mostly through my Revolut card, thinking it was safer. Now I tried to withdraw a decent chunk, about £4,500, because honestly, I needed the cash. And they just froze my account. No warning. Then I get this email saying my account is 'inactive' due to 'insufficient trading volume' and to unfreeze it and process any withdrawal, I need to pay a 'premium subscription fee' of £1,200. Is this normal? My gut says scam, but I'm desperate to get my money out. What should I do? I'm in Glasgow, UK, btw.
Unregulated broker FXChoice demanding a huge 'ID verification fee' to process withdrawal. Scam?
Okay so I'm completely freaking out right now. I put about 7,000 GBP into FXChoice over the last few months, trading some CFD stuff, and honestly, it looked like I was doing pretty well, account balance showed like 12k. I tried to withdraw some profit – only 2k to test it out – and they immediately blocked the withdrawal. Now they're saying I need to pay a 'mandatory identity verification fee' of 3,000 EUR to unlock my funds and process any withdrawal. This feels super dodgy. I sent them all my ID when I signed up, utility bills, passport, everything. Why would they need *another* fee for verification, especially one that's so high? I'm in Cardiff, UK, and I'm just sick to my stomach thinking I've lost everything. Is this a common scam tactic? What should I do? Please help.
