Anyone had success with Nethertrace after a fake crypto mining investment scam?
Hey everyone, feeling pretty low right now. I lost a significant amount of money, low five figures, to a crypto mining investment platform that turned out to be a complete scam. They had this whole setup, daily 'returns' showing in my dashboard, and even let me withdraw a small amount once to build trust. Then, when I tried to take out more, suddenly there were 'taxes' and 'fees' that just kept piling up. It was a classic trap, and i feel like an idiot for falling for it. I've been looking into recovery options and came across Nethertrace. I know these things are often scams themselves, so I'm really wary. Has anyone here had actual success with [Nethertrace](https://nethertrace.co) after something similar? I'm based in Frankfurt, Germany, and really need some hope here. Any real experiences, good or bad, would be super helpful.
Is 'Crypto Trace Solutions' asking for a 'wallet synchronization fee' legit to get my Bitcoin back?
Okay, so I lost a bunch of Bitcoin back in March to one of those fake investment platforms. It was about 0.8 BTC, which is a lot of money for me. I was devastated, reported it to the FBI IC3, but honestly didn't expect much. Then last week, an email pops up from a company called 'Crypto Trace Solutions.' They claim they found my funds, or at least a trace of them, and can recover them. Sounds amazing, right? But here's the catch: they're asking for a 'wallet synchronization fee' of 0.05 BTC before they can even start the transfer process. They said it's to 'sync my wallet with the blockchain bridge' they use. My gut is screaming scam, especially because they want crypto and it's an upfront fee. I'm so desperate to get my money back, but I don't want to lose even more. Has anyone dealt with these guys or heard of this 'wallet synchronization fee' thing? Is this just another scam preying on victims?
Lost my bitcoin after applying for a 'job' that turned out to be a crypto task scam, is it gone?
i'm pretty embarrassed about this but i need to ask. i was looking for an online job, and found this 'task-based' one advertising good pay for simple tasks – mostly clicking on products or reviewing stuff, supposedly boosting sales for online shops. it seemed legit at first, they even had a 'manager' chatting with me on Telegram. anyway, they said i needed to 'activate' my account by topping up a small amount of crypto. i sent about 0.05 BTC to an address they gave me. then, the tasks got weirder, asking for more and more 'top-ups' to complete 'high-value orders' that would supposedly pay back with huge commissions. i didn't realize until i tried to withdraw my funds and they kept asking for more 'tax' or 'unlock fees.' now they've ghosted me. i feel so stupid. is there any way to trace or recover that bitcoin?
