My 'broker' FXChoice is demanding a 'fund verification fee' to release my crypto profits. Scam?
Ok, so i feel kinda dumb asking this, but i'm proper panicked right now. I got involved with this online trading platform, FXChoice, through someone i met on Telegram. They seemed really legit, showed me all these supposed wins, and i actually saw my 'balance' grow a lot, about a low five-figure sum, all in crypto. Now i've tried to withdraw, and they're saying I need to pay a 'fund verification fee' first. Like, another 10% of my total balance! It's a huge amount of money. I've already put in a decent chunk from my savings, and now this fee. They say it's for 'AML compliance' to verify the source of funds before they can release it to my South African bank account. Is this a common thing with crypto withdrawals? Or am I being played for a fool here? This whole thing is stressing me out big time.
