My 'broker' FXChoice is demanding a 'compliance audit fee' before I can withdraw my profits. Help?
hi everyone, i'm quite panicked right now. i started trading with a company called FXChoice about 6 months ago, mostly forex. things were going okay, i put in about 2k euros and by some miracle, i actually grew it to around 8k, maybe 9k. it felt like a huge relief, you know? i tried to withdraw some of it, maybe 3k, just to test the waters. but then they came back saying there's a 'compliance audit fee' that needs to be paid before any withdrawals can be processed. they're asking for another 1.5k euros, saying it's for 'international regulatory verification' because of the profit amount. it just feels... off. i've never heard of this before. my friend said it sounds like a scam but i don't want to lose all i've supposedly made. is this a normal thing for brokers to ask for? or is my friend right? what should I do?
