Has anyone recovered funds after a fake yield farming scam with Nethertrace?
Hey everyone, i'm Mia from Munich, and I'm in a pretty rough spot right now. I fell for one of those fake yield farming crypto scams back in February. It started slow, just a bit of Bitcoin, then they convinced me to move over some ETH and USDT from my personal wallet. Ended up losing low five figures, which is basically my life savings. I feel so stupid. I've been looking into recovery options, and a friend mentioned [Nethertrace](https://nethertrace.co). They're a blockchain tracing company based in the Netherlands, apparently specialized in this kind of stuff. I had a free consultation with them, and they seem really professional, didn't promise the moon, and explained their process for tracing the funds and working with exchanges. But, you know, after getting scammed once, I'm super cautious. Has anyone here actually had success recovering funds from a fake yield farming scam, or any crypto scam, specifically with Nethertrace? Just need some real-world experiences before I commit. Any input would be hugely appreciated.
Lost a load of USDT after approving a malicious smart contract on a 'yield farm' site, any hope?
Honestly, I feel so stupid. I was looking into these yield farming things, thought I'd found a good one, you know? It looked legit, decent APY advertised, all the usual stuff. It wasn't a massive amount, but it was about 4k USDT I had saved up for a new car. I connected my Trust Wallet, approved some contract, and boom – my USDT balance just vanished. Like, gone. I checked the transaction on the block explorer, and it looks like it went to some address I don't recognize. I've seen some of these recovery services advertised, but they all seem to ask for money upfront, and after this, I'm super wary. Is there *any* legitimate way to even try and trace this? Or is that 4k just gone forever because I was naive enough to fall for somethin' like this? Feeling pretty low about it all.
Lost my crypto savings after a fake "yield farming" offer on a DeFi platform (DexoSwap) – can I get it back?
Hey everyone, feeling completely devastated. I was trying to get into DeFi and saw an offer for some really high APY yield farming on a platform called DexoSwap. Looked legit, had a sleek interface, and even linked to what seemed like a genuine Telegram group. I connected my MetaMask wallet (which had most of my crypto, like 10k EUR mostly in ETH and USDT) and approved a transaction for 'staking'. Next thing I know, my entire wallet is empty. All my ETH, all my USDT, gone. This happened a few days ago, late evening here in Paris. I tried to revoke permissions on MetaMask but it was too late. I've reported it to MetaMask and my local police, but they just kinda shrugged. I'm desperate. Is there any way to trace these funds or get them back? Has anyone had success with something like this?
